    Design Rationale
  • Communication is based on needs, and vocabulary usage arises from such needs. This book applies an Action-Oriented approach from the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and takes the beginner’s communication needs as its priority. Nine themes related to daily life were chosen as the respective unit topics and each theme includes relevant vocabularies with useful daily conversations or example sentences to help learners to develop the competence to describe, reply, and communicate in these situations.
